Long wait on Sunday. Nice, homey feel. Food ok, very small portions. Not exciting. Not seasoned. Surprised at such few potatoes, usually restaurants give you a good portion. Eggs even looked small but then again we're in an egg crisis. Waffles looked good, too bad I didn't order one :) Overpriced for what you get. Really about 3 1/2 stars.

This is my favorite brunch place in Oakland, possibly the Bay Area but I am super biased (because I live so close to it). I have come to this spot too many times to count. The service is super friendly and calming, the food is always delicious and quick. I am gluten free and dairy free and they have good stuff that I can eat.

Came by on a Sunday afternoon and found street parking right in front. There's a kiosk at the host stand to sign up for the waitlist, but the employee seated me immediately at a cozy little table right next to the fireplace, cuz I didn't have a group with me to require waiting. I admired the restaurant interior with simple decor and exposed brick walls. Ordered the "create your own" scramble (mushroom, green onion, pork sausage, cheddar), with grilled tomato and toast. It was a small dish, the egg scramble light on the toppings, and a single tiny slice of sourdough. But everything was tasty, especially the grilled tomato that came on the side. They forgot my diet soda, and I finished my meal before I could ask for it a second time. But it was fine, I got it taken off the bill. Staff was friendly, though not apologetic about forgetting my drink.

Good place for brunch with standard faire and satisfying but not overwhelming portions. I thought my omelette was cooked well and balanced ingredients. The wait was a bit long but there was a nice farmers market nearby that we walked around in the meantime.

OMG So glad I listened to my fellow Yelpers and tried this spot. I brought my team for breakfast and it was perfect. We were a party of 8 and it was just the place! Parking wasn't bad, they seated us right away and let's not forget how freakin adorable the inside is! I loved everything about the ambiance and I'll definitely be going back! The staff were all really great and I love an open kitchen. There were several food option for the diversity of the group I was with and everyone loved their food. I wish I could five 5 stars, but one of my staff has read reviews about finding hair in their food and that moment of dread happened. She was almost done with her meal, but it definitely ruined her appetite. We all felt bad but she didn't send it back because evening up to that point was so great. We looked back at the cooks and think it had to be beard hairs, but they should do something about this since it's written all throughout the review.

Grabbed brunch here with my sister on Saturday morning, we added our self to the waitlist on Yelp which is still such an underrated feature. Service was fast, the food was great and they let us stay well past closing enjoying our wine while we wedding planned.

I've been wanting to come back to this spot since moving back to the Oakland Hills, but waiting for an hour on the weekends is not an option with two 4 y/o kids. Luckily, Monday was the day! I brought a friend and his fiance here for breakfast before they left town... I can say the service is very friendly and very quick. Coffee is always being topped up and the food comes quick after ordering. For the food, I ordered the Chorizo Scramble and it was exactly what I was craving for! This super casual breakfast/brunch/lunch spot is the spot in Montclair Village!

This is the only breakfast place in the village with outdoor seating. The service is good. I had the pesto and chicken crepe one day and the breakfast tacos the next day. The crepe was a 4/5 and the tacos a 3/5. The tacos were under seasoned and uninspiring. :-(
